Realtime Teamwork – even on the iPad

For quite some time we have been working on a major update of the Conceptboard application and website. One goal was to get Conceptboard ready for the iPad. Now it’s done. There is no app you need to download it works just fine in the browser. So now you can really use Conceptboard wherever you are and whatever device you use. PC, Mac or iPad. That’s great because Conceptboard is all about teamwork in realtime. Somebody scribbles on the iPad and it is instantly visible to a PC user.

See this example:

Your colleague wants you to revise a word document. He imports it onto a Conceptboard and adds you as participant. You receive an email on your iPad. With just one click you open the board including the document (!) in the iPad browser. You can immediately start commenting or use highlighter and pen. No matter whether you are in the office or on your couch at home. Your feedback is instantly saved and visible to your colleague.

But that’s not all. We have been also working on other new features:

Nice new interface:

There were many great ideas for new features, but functionality is only half the job. So we spent a lot of time making existing and new features as intuitive and acessible as possible. Therefore we completely redesigned the toolbar. You can now quickly select all the tools you need from a single location. It also looks way better than before.

Simple presentation mode:

This comes in handy whenever you are working together with coworkers, customers or contractors. Start a presentation with one click and the other participants follow your screen area and even see your mouse cursor. So you can just show everybody what your point is.

Login with Twitter, Facebook or Google:

You know what’s really annoying? Having to type in your email and password every time when you come to a frequently used site. That’s why we decided to implement third party logins. Now you can sign up and login via Facebook, Twitter and Google. Have fun!

To those of you who are new to Conceptboard or not sure about how to use it, we recommend our example boards and all new features page. You might find one or two useful tools which you don’t know yet.
